SOS Femmes Nantes comes from the awareness and action of a group of women mobilized to help one of their victims, victims of violence from their spouse or family. As early as 1978, these women formed an association and denounced this fact of society to the general public and political decision-makers. Since then, the actions have multiplied: telephone listening - collective hospitality - accommodation and accompaniment (CHRS - Emergency) - point-welcome in three neighbourhoods of social habitat - prevention among young people (colleges - colleges) - interventions with professionals (health - justice - police - employment) - intervention with the public - partnership with feminist associations in the Espace Simone de Beauvoir.
