A major player in the associative world, France Bénévolat's vocation is the development of associative voluntary commitment for an active citizenship. This association has three main missions: firstly, to promote voluntary work in the service of the general interest, secondly, to guide and put interested individuals in contact with associations mobilising volunteers, and thirdly, to support associations in order to strengthen the recognition and appreciation of their volunteers, in particular with the help of a passport for volunteers. France Bénévolat is a resource to help volunteer candidates find their way, but also to accompany associations in their search for volunteers thanks to the follow-up provided by a counsellor-referent and to ensure personalised relations at local level (neighbourhoods, communities...) with partners and associations while helping associations to participate in local projects (forums...). Very dynamic, France Bénévolat is present in many events that it organizes (such as forums, hikes...) and open days mobilizing associations.
