Opened in 1985 on Quai de la Fosse, this media library has become the heart of Nantes' library network. It coordinates actions in favor of books and public reading. The 10,000m2 library houses over 400,000 documents. There is a classic collection (books, magazines, youth and adult comics), a digital collection (CDs, DVDs, audio books), as well as an older collection with documents available for consultation by appointment. The cultural season is punctuated by readings, meetings and creative workshops.
