The Sound Library, a member of the Voice Donors Association, gives the blind and visually impaired the opportunity to listen, free of charge and at home, to readings of all kinds of books and periodicals. The latter are made through the commitment of voice donors and are recorded on media such as MP 3 cassette tapes or cds. Every year, there are about thousand books of works made possible by the action of a hundred volunteers. Each year, a contest of the Voice of the Year is organised.
