Nantes boats offering three walks for three views of the Erdre
The Nantes Boats offer three walks for three views of the Erdre. Discover the one that for Francis I was the most beautiful river in France: the Erdre, "small river" in Celtic (erdam) through different routes. First of all, the "Au fil de l'Erdre" walk which leads to the splendid château de la Gascherie. Embark on an unforgettable walk with comments on the history of the river and its many castles. The second walk - only in summer - is the most surprising: it is the aperitif cruise on the Ouch boat. Boarding takes place at the foot of the Cité des congrès, at the pontoon of the Saint-Félix basin, then you pass through the Saint-Félix tunnel, along the island of Versailles and slowly up the Erdre. This is an aperitif cruise: a wine list is available on board in collaboration with the Vignes de Nantes with sausages, fish rillettes and olives as an accompaniment. Passengers stroll on board or on the accessible terrace. Finally, the third possibility is the romenade "O fil des saisons" which allows you to discover the life of the river, the specificities of its fauna and flora over the seasons and the principles of navigation. The cruise on the Erdre and the guide's comments will allow you to get to know this very pretty river, which the people of Nantes never get tired of. Not to mention the lunch or dinner cruises that are offered all year round.
