Different cruises that allow you to discover Nantes and the Loire in a different way, on board a fast and comfortable boat
From April to October, we organize a variety of cruises on board a fast, comfortable speedboat, allowing you to discover Nantes and the Loire in a different way. The Loire's industrial, economic and ecological heritage is revealed to you by guide-lecturers. With the "Nantes-Saint-Nazaire" cruise (departing from Nantes between 9 and 10 a.m.), you can admire Trentemoult (a former fishing village), the former island of Basse-Indre, the Indret foundry, the Couëron lead tower, the Canal de la Martinière, the EDF power plant at Cordemais, Paimbœuf and the works of the Estuaire contemporary art biennial, which stretch all the way to Saint-Nazaire. Here, a free 3-hour stopover allows you to organize your visit to the port city as you wish: around the Escal'Atlantic, the Écomusée or the submarine L'Espadon; or simply to relax on the beach or in the pedestrian streets. The boat returns to the Nantes ferry terminal between 6:30 and 7pm. Another possible cruise is the "Estuaire Day", which includes a stopover in Saint-Nazaire and a guided coach tour of the estuary countryside to discover a selection of Estuaire works, such as Huang Yong Ping's Serpent d'Océan in Saint-Brévin or Kinya Maruyama's Jardin Étoilé in Paimbœuf. For those who prefer to embark in the evening, there are the "Écoutilles" night-time musical cruises. These take place in summer (Thursdays and Fridays), and last 4 hours to the rhythm of pop, electro, funk... depending on the program. It's up to you to choose your formula - Marine & Loire takes care of the rest! You can also reserve a boat for a special occasion. New: "Voyage extraordinaire", discovering the estuary, and "journée pornichouette"!
