In the north of Nantes, the "landscape cemetery" or "park cemetery" covers a surface area of 75 hectares. It was designed on the model of Swiss and German necropolises, where burial sites are gathered in the middle of clearings free from circulation. Such a surface has allowed plant species to be accommodated, which make it a rare arboretum of rare species, evolving in the seasons.
