Galerie des Machines, where the Great Elephant was born, the real mascot of Nantes
The fruit of the unbridled imagination of Messrs Delarozière and Orefice, inspired by the worlds of Leonardo da Vinci and Jules Verne, the Galerie des Machines is the laboratory of the La Machine company. Overlooked by an 8-metre heron, the Galerie des Machines workshop takes you into the world of the future Arbre aux Hérons. A crazy project with 22 branches, it will see the light of day in 2027 and welcome the public. Discover the giant hummingbird, the sky louse, the giant ant, the mechanical spider, the sloth and the swarm of butterflies.

Cependant il vaut mieux se présenter tôt (ou réserver) si l'on veut faire la balade sur l'éléphant, le nombre de places est limité et c'est vite complet.
Le spectacle vu du sol (et gratuit) reste tout de même impressionnant et amusant, l'éléphant essaye constamment de vous arroser.
