Exceptional ornithological site between Paimbœuf and Saint-Brévin-les-Pins to observe a great number of migratory birds
An exceptional ornithological site between Paimbœuf and Saint-Brévin-les-Pins! Bring your binoculars because from autumn onwards, you will observe a large number of migratory birds passing through the estuary. The Paimbœuf mudflat, a unique site in France, offers a privileged observation post for waders and anatidae, elegant avocets, black-headed gulls which change head, black in winter, white in summer. And also herring gulls, redheads, shelducks, silver plovers, sandpipers and curlews, recognizable by their call.
