In 1907, it replaced abandoned salt marshes. Rebuilt to new in 2011, the racecourse now hosts 24 racing meetings, including 17 Premium (national television broadcasting). The competitors have not been forgotten with the creation of the trotting track promoting speed and a galloping track in fibre sand that allows you to escape the bad weather and run all year round, even in the middle of winter! In Pornichet, the most prestigious teams come from all over Europe to compete for victories: galloping on the most modern of the fibre sand tracks, trotting on a 1,250 m speed ring. You will also find a bar, a snack bar, a panoramic restaurant and many activities for children on site; these services are offered every evening of the race. Guided tours of the racecourse are organized for the most curious!
