Le Chronographe, a cultural facility overlooked by a 16 m-high terrace and belvedere in Rezé.

Conceived and designed as a scaffolding made of wood and metal, this cultural facility is overlooked by a terrace and a 16-meter high belvedere. Located on the Saint-Lupien archaeological site, it aims to enhance the value of the remains uncovered during the latest and most recent excavation campaigns: 2,000 years ago, the important ancient Gallo-Roman port of Ratiatum was located here. The Chronographe offers workshops and conferences. The 20,000m2 open archaeological site is accessible as well as the chapel, whose basement presents the successive occupations of the site.

Joli musée, très intéressant, avec plusieurs bornes interactives adaptées à tous. Exposition temporaire sur les gladiateurs avec un parcours amusant et instructif. En plus l'entrée n'est vraiment pas chère !

Nous avons attendu la réouverture ce week-end pour faire un tour à Rezé et visiter ce musée. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris : le musée est très lumineux, les collections bien exposées et les cartels utiles. Nous avons passé environ 1h30 dans l'exposition permanente, car nous avons pris notre temps pour lire et tester les activités interactives. Il y avait beaucoup de monde ce dimanche : nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter de l'exposition temporaire au sous-sol. Il y avait un peu d'attente à l'accueil : environ 15 minutes. Nous avons apprécié la vue depuis le belvédère et la terrasse et avons fait un petit tour entre les vestiges à l'extérieur. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette visite très instructive. Il était très intéressant de découvrir l'histoire de cet ancien port et de se représenter l'évolution du paysage ligérien.
