Le Chronographe, a cultural facility overlooked by a 16 m-high terrace and belvedere in Rezé.

Conceived and designed as a scaffolding made of wood and metal, this cultural facility is overlooked by a terrace and a 16-meter high belvedere. Located on the Saint-Lupien archaeological site, it aims to enhance the value of the remains uncovered during the latest and most recent excavation campaigns: 2,000 years ago, the important ancient Gallo-Roman port of Ratiatum was located here. The Chronographe offers workshops and conferences. The 20,000^m2 open archaeological site is accessible as well as the chapel, whose basement presents the successive occupations of the site.

Opening time and information on THE CHRONOGRAPH

September to June: open Wednesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm. July and August: Tuesday to Sunday, 2pm to 7pm. Closed from January 8 to February 24, 2024. Free admission for children under 18. Adults: €4. Free admission on 1st Sunday of the month (except July and August). Museum Pass: €15. Groups and schools welcome on reservation.

Très intéressant, sur les découvertes archéologiques de la région nantaise et plus particulièrement Rezé et la cité romaine sur les bords de Loire!

Bon accueil. Parcours bien expliqué. Il y a 3 accès possibles pour s'y rendre mais un seul pour atteindre le parking gratuit dont l'entrée se situe sur la voie menant au boulevard du général de Gaule en direction de Nantes. N'oubliez pas de faire un tour sur la terrasse et à la chapelle St Lupien en fin de visite.
