Beef brochettes, gambas and various meat dishes followed by nice desserts in Saint-Herblain.

There's a special atmosphere here, a change of scenery... To get here, the less resourceful will have to turn around several times, and the others will know to take the Laënnec exit on the ring road that runs alongside Atlantis, and continue straight on past the traffic circle. Precision is not superfluous! The Canary Islands are well worth the trip. We enter a cliché of the colonial era (in the good sense of the word), where brown wood serves as furniture, and old photos as decoration. On the plate, the awalé board offers six bowls of hot and cold tapas that change daily: tandoori apples, mussels, coleslaw salad, seafood penne, cod acra, roast chicken... The establishment's specialty is Canarian-style grilled half-chicken, marinated, cooked over a wood fire and accompanied by baked potatoes and served on a platter with chive cream, chilli sauce and mojo-verde sauce, amazing for the mix of flavours it produces. Seafood lovers can now share a kilo of gambas for two for €49! The well-stocked menu includes a grill section with beef kebabs and king prawns, as well as prepared dishes such as walnut carryout, pork cheeks and, more surprisingly, pan-fried Canberra kangaroo and Maïmaï with seaweed sauce (the scientific name for dolphinfish). Delicious desserts, original coffee corner and rums to get lost in the bush...

Je change mon avis qui était la base de 5 étoiles. Je trouve juste impensable que nous soyons obligés de payer 50 centimes une boîte en carton (qui n'est biensur pas étanche) en doggybag. Dans les temps qui courent pour lutter contre le gaspillage ça n'incite personne à faire attention ! Donc gardez votre carton et la prochaine fois on vous laissera jeter toute la nourriture qui aurait pu être manger plus tard ! Super image de marque ! Lamentable !

Cuisine au top malgré une carte qui ne se renouvelle pas beaucoup ! Ambiance sympa plutôt le soir. Des serveurs qui ont tendance à courir pour gérer tout le service.

Ensemble relativement correct, tarifs un peu excessifs pour une cuisine sans prétention. Desserts plutôt moyens à améliorer tant sur le goût que sur la présentation. Le cadre aurait besoin d'un sérieux rafraîchissement.

De passage à Nantes pour 2 jours de formation, nous cherchions, mes collègues et moi, un restaurant pour passer une soirée sympa.
Celui-ci n’a rien « d’extraordinaire » mais nous avons été bien accueilli, bien conseillé, bien servi avec professionnalisme, humour et gentillesse.
Le décor est dans le thème.
Le gros +: la cave à rhums! Et les explications du patron sur leur dégustation!!! Un grand merci pour ce bon moment. ????
