ATELIER DOUARN
In spring 2016, Sandrine Ramona's workshop left Sautron to settle in Saint-Herblain and the atmosphere is still warm, relaxed, but concentrated. The hands of his students come out of original, classic or extravagant creations, always unique. Vase delicately decorated, enamelled cup, fantaisiste coquetier or even fantastic creature mi-animale, half-monstrous… Here, no imposed programme and no more than five or six pupils simultaneously. Each comes with a project arrested, an idea still imprecise or simply the desire to dive your hands into the clay and try the potter's turn. Sandrine listens, guides and advises according to tastes, desires and time available. Then, from raw bread, each student initiates the technique best suited to his project: modelling, plate, columbian, tower or mass. Once the shape is defined, we go to the décor with, to choose, to engobe, enamelling, etc. Ceramist of talent and inspired artist, Sandrine belongs to the network of Art Ateliers de France. She opened her workshop in 2005 to convey her know-how in an atmosphere that resembles him: joyful, spontaneous and benevolent. It also provides courses at the socio-cultural centre of Saint-Herblain, in specialized structures and in various schools. For any occasion (birthday, Christmas…), it can also issue gift certificates.
