The Life (International scene of Emerging Forms) is a space dedicated to the production and dissemination of artistic creation in its various aspects, such as the plastic arts, music, architecture, performing arts, literature, cinema, or video and new media. It was imagined by the architect Berlin Finn Geipel. Inaugurated in April 2007, it became a major element in the recovery of the old submarine base. Life is close to 2000 m 2 on the ground, a reception capacity of 150 to 2500 people. In the programme: shows, exhibitions, concerts, projections, meetings; a regular bar and dance; day or night, a place of experience, meetings, discoveries and exchanges.
