The brand new Aquaparc aquatic centre, Centre aquatique de l'Estuaire, opened its doors for the very first time at the end of April. It is composed of a 25 m (525 m²) swimming pool: 8 to 10 water lines, a 25 m (216 m²) heating pool: 3 to 4 water lines, a learning pool (133 m²), a wave and space pool with jets and bubbles (250 m²) and a 50 m² paddling pool with games. In all, no less than 1,200 m2 of water will be made available to swimmers of all ages. A wellness area is also provided with three sauna rooms, a hammam room, hydrotherapy showers, a relaxation area and an outdoor solarium. It should be noted that a very special effort has been made to treat water, which reduces its chlorine consumption thanks to ozone. Composed of oxygen, ozone does not pollute, does not sting the eyes and limits the effect of dryness on the skin. The water in the basins is also clearer.
