Inn in the heart of the vineyard, a nice address for lovers of grilled meat in Vallet.
In the heart of the vineyard, this inn is surrounded by vineyards and lulled by the surrounding light. Here we are at Eric and Rachel's house, surrounded by their young team. We come here to relax to the sound of the crackling chimney fire. Indeed, at the Auberge de la Comtière you can taste the famous grilled meats cooked in the fire of the vine shoots! A regional rumour claims that the best meats are served here in the vineyard. This address validates this statement. Located in the countryside, between Vallet and Le Landreau, the establishment will seduce grill lovers but not only. Good old-fashioned dishes are brought up to date here: sausage with muscadet or a piece of rib steak grilled in the fireplace. The establishment can accommodate groups in its large room. For the sweet, we recommend the excellent homemade rum baba served with the rum bottle at will... Of course Loire wines are omnipresent, do not hesitate to ask for the Muscadet de la Comtière produced right next door!

Mais malgré le feu dans la cheminée et la qualité de la cuisine, pas moyen d'apprécier ce restaurant à cause de la suffisance avec laquelle le patron nous reçoit.
Bien que la salle soit quasi vide, la prise de commandes semble l'agacer et il apporte même les entrées (froides heureusement) alors que nous n'avons pas encore terminé les apéritifs.
Aucun mot aimable au moment du départ (et nous avons pris des menus à 30 euros, et des vins chers....).
Nous n'y retournerons pas.
