Restaurant-cave-grocery-tea room with fine specialties such as palette of beef in beurre blanc sauce.
This restaurant, which also doubles as a cellar-grocery-tea room, lives up to its name. Chef Pierre Chatalain takes pleasure in telling us culinary stories. Starting with his specialty, the palette de bœuf sauce beurre-blanc de Philou le Nantais, a nod to his uncle who ran a restaurant under the Cheviré bridge. There's also Grandpa Bob's cannelés and his partner Jean-Frédéric's Liège waffle. With its old collector's advertising posters, the décor plunges us into a nostalgic world where we feel at home. You can leave with a tea towel or apron (gift idea). All bon vivants are sure to return!
