In the Nantes vineyard, in Vertou, the charming Domaine de la Chevrue is a place of multiple resources. First of all, its wine-growing section thanks to Yannick Leblé, a wine-grower for 5 generations, who welcomes us with a smile, to let us taste his production. In his 25-hectare farm, this wine-lover works on the production and sale of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie, a major plant in the Nantes region, Chardonnay, Gamay rosé, Gamay rouge, Egiodola (Basque name but 100% local production!), sparkling wine (Perles de la Chevrue) and sparkling grape wine (without alcohol), various vins de pays from the Loire Valley and Loire-Atlantique... Our favourite goes undeniably to the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie which has received numerous awards and deserves to be tasted in the magnificent cellar with buildings dating back to the 17th century! Finally, the accommodation section is not to be outdone: you can spend the night in the heart of the Nantes vineyard as the Domaine welcomes camper van drivers with 24-hour services (shower, sanitary facilities, picnic table...) who wish to sleep on the Domaine site and this free of charge with the Park4night service which is very popular with local and foreign tourists. In addition, Yannick also has a 4-person gîte for rent in the heart of this vineyard, 20 minutes from Nantes!
