LE BISTROT
Bistro cuisine and a fine wine list in a restaurant with terrace overlooking the station square in Angers.
With large windows overlooking the square of the railway station, the place is spacious, bright, decorated with sobriety, with its gray and ochre walls and big suppressants. All the classics of bistrot cuisine are found: salads, charcuterie dishes, burgers, steak tartare, grilled fish, fish and some originalities such as carpaccios of meat and fish and sailors and other marmites of the fisherman. Over the weeks, the brigade concocted the victuals with the boss to surprise the gourmand. Market opportunities stem from the daily dishes that are not expected. You cannot list them because you will have little chance of seeing them run twice! The dishes are well executed and the servings generous. Desserts such as the floating island and the Cointreau ice-cream (specialty of the bistro) will give you a smile, certainly! The place is very lively at noon, but the clientele, mainly passing and business, often come out as fast as it has entered. We welcome Pascal's winnings, the boss, a passionate man in this field! Weakness: A little noisy at the time of the day and an agreed dessert card. Talents: The staff were very helpful and the staff were very helpful.
