CINEMA PATHE
After a decline in attendance due to the introduction of the Cinéville des Pont-de-Cé in 2016, the former Gaumont Multiplexe, which became Pathé, rebounded by offering, in particular, renovated rooms (twelve) and all equipped with numbered armchairs. With its 340 weekly sittings, the place already has much to satisfy the filmmakers of all hairs: programming focuses mainly on large productions, but also offers original subtitled sessions (every Thursday evening) as well as author films, every year, at the famous First Plans festival. The lobby also has a very pleasant refreshment and now welcomes a small Starbucks coffee… But the big novelty is the 4 DX room, equipped with the largest screen of Angers, Dbox dynamic chairs and Dolby Atmos immersive. What to be completely impregnated in history and experience a sensorial experience of Futuroscope (but over the duration of a film!). Finally, pre-premieres are regularly organized, often in the presence of directors and comedians, as well as retransmissions of opera ballets (certainly moments where the horrors of popcorn are least heard!) and concerts.
