DIRECTION DÉPARTEMENTALE DE LA COHÉSION SOCIALE DU MAINE-ET-LOIRE
Located at the heart of the administrative city, the DDCS has been administering several previously independent sections since the 2010 public policy reform to simplify administrative procedures. The Departmental Directorate of Social Cohesion is now the sole interlocutor for everything related to youth-related services (e. g. to obtain its BAFA), to popular education, to sports, to associative life (ex DDJS), to the pole responsible for social policy on housing (ex DDE), the pole social development (ex DDASS) and is the delegate to women's rights and gender equality. The role of DDCS is to act closely with territorial communities, organizations and associations working in these sectors.
