They deal with violence (psychological, physical and sexual) suffered by children, particularly within the family or in institutions, but also neglect, abandonment, parental conflicts, domestic violence, runaways... All adults should help their children to remember this toll-free number, especially as it does not appear on itemized bills to protect the caller.
