13th century fortress with various medieval buildings and gardens in Angers
A 13th-century fortress built on a slate hillside, it houses medieval buildings and a variety of gardens, including a hanging vegetable garden, rose garden and vineyard. You can also admire the famous Apocalypse tapestry, listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World register on May 18, 2023, and the largest preserved tapestry in the world: 100 meters of embroidered fabric. Themed tours are available all year round. Access to the château is via the pretty Bout du Monde promenade.

Open all year round. Closed January 1, May 1 and December 25. Low season: daily from 10am to 5:30pm. High season: daily from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Free admission for children under 18 (26 for EU citizens). Adults: €11. Groups: €9.50. Guided tour. Restaurant. Gift store. Animations. Lieu mityque, et rempli d histoire.
Visite du château ????, très sympathique avec un guide c est mieux.
Vous vous rendrez compte de cette prodigieuse forteresse et de son architecture. La vue des différentes tours sont super.
Quand vous sortirez de ce château, je vous conseil de deambuler jusqu'au bout du monde , et ces rues pavés , ces maisons d un autre siècle superbement restaurée, poursuivez votre chemin jusqu'à la cathédrale et ses nombreuses marches.
Un peu d histoire ne fait pas de mal
