Gastronomic inn offering seasonal cuisine steeped in local produce in a setting overlooking the Pyrenees in Biarritz.

This new Biarritz inn is just the way we like it. It's friendly, generous and professional, in a 19th-century Basque building with a soft, colorful interior and a panoramic view of the countryside and the Pyrenees mountain range. Sébastien (Michelin-starred chef) and Kevin, surrounded by a crack team in both kitchen and dining room, offer a cuisine steeped in local produce, in tune with the seasons. Local poultry and lamb, fish from the fish market, vegetables from the garden - it's all local! Fresh foie gras pot-au-feu, sweetbreads au jus, "Ortolan" quail, Armagnac savarin...

J’ai été très déçu par le boudin noir que j’ai trouvé trop gras, désagréable en bouche (et pourtant je suis un grand fan). La sauce en accompagnement ne pouvait pas casser le gras naturel du boudin mais au contraire en rajoutait à la sensation grasse et pâteuse. Pour le reste j’ai adoré l’entrée salade de couteaux et les riz de veau de mon épouse étaient aussi excellents. La mise en bouche pâté avec ses pickles était une bonne entrée en matière.. La salle est un peu bruyante mais cela participe aussi à l’ambiance. Votre service a été irréprochable, il faut dire que nous avons eu la bonne idée d’arriver avant le rush de 20h :-)
