Right in the city centre with a view of the ocean and the Place Sainte-Eugénie below, close to the thalassotherapy centres and the Barrière casino, the Florida is a four-star hotel just the way we like it. From the impeccable welcome to the perfect location, you will be in paradise. An innovative ground floor with clean lines and warm colours and quiet and spacious rooms with a modern decoration in sober and elegant colours. Here the charm goes hand in hand with comfort and there again with brand new bedding, duvets, refurbished dressing rooms, mini bars... it's great! Some of them have an ocean view and the balconies allow you to enjoy them at any time of the day. The hotel also offers T2 apartments, with equipped kitchenette, perfect for 4 or 5 people. Also suitable for seminars with modular spaces that can accommodate groups of 20 to 40 people. Open to all, the restaurant La Cantine d'Eugénie awaits you. You can't miss it from the street, with its huge terrace. With, in addition, the no less surprising and superb champagne bar... which make it a sure value in Biarritz, on this pleasant square so close to the ocean.

L’hôtesse d’accueil est super et très souriante
En revanche, nous sommes déçus de notre séjour :
- la propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer : cheveux présent sur le pommeau de douche à notre arrivée et toujours présent à notre départ / plusieurs tache sur les autres infrastructures
- le petit déjeuner est cher pour ce qui est proposé : 15€ par personne
- la climatisation qui fuit quand on l’allume on a du l’éteindre
L’établissement pour nous ne mérite pas pour nous les 4 étoiles et le ratio qualité prix n’est pas du tout respecté
I give it 3.5 stars based on good value for money and location
I was bothered that they charged me €5 for a bottle of water that I understood to be complementary when I checked in (I will assume it was a language communication error as I don’t speak French) but they also gave me a 1 hour extra late check out for free which was appreciated.
I would definitely stay again but will be sure I check every detail of my booking.
From my experience (a brief chat with the owner or manager) and reading other reviews, maybe the management can think about how to communicate expectations better. Most bad reviews and my reluctance to give my stay 5 stars seems to be a result of incorrect expectations and some bad communication.
