Built around the middle of the 12th century, Saint-Martin is the first church in Biarritz. The history of Biarritz is identified with that of the Saint-Martin church. It also hosts the first school of the city. Restored in 1541, it has a flamboyant Gothic choir and a nave with low arches. The organ, recently built, is one of the beautiful instruments of the region. Before the construction of the neighborhood, it served as a hideout for sailors who could see it from afar. A beautifully renovated church, to be seen without hesitation. With many concerts taking place there.
