Church built in limestone, with 3 vessels topped by a polygonal spire and a long-sided roof
The church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur was completed in 1890 and consecrated the following year. Built of limestone, the vast 3-vessel edifice is topped by a polygonal spire and a long-sloped, flat-tiled roof. Inside, under vaulted ceilings with panelling of the finest effect, a small statuary, including the statue of the saintly dedicatee, very fine stained-glass windows, including one by Saint-Jacques, the church's titular saint, and an extraordinary Stations of the Cross.
