Contemplation of the old Noblia Bridge in Bidarray, witness to the history of pilgrims on their way to Compostela.

Another trace of the past is the old pink Noblia Bridge (dating from the 14thcentury ), with its three arches. It spans the Nive river, a tributary of the Adour which flows into the ocean. It is one of the oldest bridges in the Basque Country, dating back to the 14th century. The bridge's construction was prompted by the need to provide safe passage for the increasing numbers of pilgrims travelling to Compostela on this ancient route. Listed as a historic monument in its entirety, the bridge is 55 m long and less than 4 m wide.
