A meeting place in the heart of Bidart, overlooking the typical village square with its unmistakable pediment, the former post office has been successfully transformed into Auberge Koskenia, a modern concept combining a grocery store selling local produce, a relaxation area with panoramic terrace and coworking facilities, and a bar-restaurant that's part-bistro, part-gastro. Conviviality and smiles are the ethos of the place. Homemade, with a seasonal locavore menu, planks to share as much as its large tables, and a majestic bistro-style counter.

Accueil déplorable. Nous font attendre sans daigner venir nous voir. Une dame enceinte attendait, elle s’est faite devancée par des personnes qu’ils connaissaient et sont donc passés devant elle et nous. Elle a fini par partir et nous aussi.
Victime de leur succès, dommage car je ne suis pas un touriste.

Convivial, service agréable, bel emplacement et plats de qualité. Seul bémol : le temps d'attente entre les plats. Apéritif + plat + cafés : arrivée 12h30, parti à 15h.

Enchantés par notre séjour de 2 jours dans cette auberge ! Marie, Thomas et la 3ème personne sont sympathiques et à l’écoute. Le décor est chaleureux. Les plats cuisinés maison sont bons ,copieux pour un prix correct. Le service est rapide. Bons points au Koskenia bowl, au magret. Nous y reviendrons !
