THE FRONTONS
Discover Bidart's pediments: the one on the square, the one for the grand chistera and the covered pediments on rue de la gare.
The fronton on the square is the oldest (1869) and the smallest. It is reserved for bare-handed pelota or pala ancha, at 6 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays, in season only. The large fronton, which has been visible since the 1958 national, is used for the grand chistera, and is often chosen by the Federation to host championship finals. It is played three against three, in 45 points, at 8.30pm or 9pm. Grand Chistera on Tuesdays and Fridays. A third covered fronton, on the left-hand side of Kirolak, was built in 1982 on rue de la Gare.
