RESTAURANT AU BORD DE L'EAU
Restaurant with terrace on the waterfront where the chef focuses on home-made food and the quality of the fish and seafood.
Located on the edge of the Gulf of Billère and the Gave de Pau, the restaurant Au Bord de l'eau has a charming setting, really rare for its greenery. Its rooms is very large and bright, it is completed by a splendid terrace by the waterside pleasant in the summer and a central fireplace that accompanies you all year round. The menu is full of character, everything is homemade and its specialities are fish and seafood. You will appreciate the talent of Yannick, chief and manager of the establishment. It relies on the freshness and quality of the daily deliveries from the Atlantic Coast and Brittany. Eels in parsley, langoustine à la plancha, bluefin tuna, bearded, hake, artisanal smoked salmon Casteigt de Pau, mussels, sea bream, prawns: if the frying is a signature with that of anchovies, smelts or monkfish, the grilling and plancha cooking are required. In addition, the meat with leg and lamb chops, duck breasts and beef chops provide a choice option and it is wide, with dishes once again certified: lamb from the Pyrenees Label Rouge, duck breast from the Southwest... On the dessert side, excellence is reflected in homemade ice creams and cakes. A remarkable address!
