BAR-ÉPICERIE LE COMMUNAL
The Communal has been running the heart of the village for more than thirty years. A real local shop with many hats, this bar is also a grocery store and a point where you will find the regional press. On the bar side, we were surprised by the extensive menu of bottled beers, between 40 and 50 references are offered. Fresh sandwiches are made on demand, at any time of the day, again variety is the order of the day: pâté, sheep's cheese, local ham, tomatoes... you make your snack with fresh local products. At the grocery store you will find local specialities, including cold meats, honey, cheeses, Jurançon wine, regional dishes cooked in preserves, a real small market 100% local. Fruits and vegetables complete this place where classic products are of course on the menu. If the charm works, a gîte d'étape welcomes you for one or more nights. We love this really welcoming and warm place, typical of the Béarn spirit!
