LE LUCIFER

A great joy to find the origins of the Lucifer in the hands of its creator, Guillaume Thévenet! The huge bar nestled in the tufa cellars is divided into three areas with a very long bar and red armchairs on one side, then more cosy lounges on the other side for hot nights that regular customers frequent assiduously. People come from far away to enjoy total freedom to the sound of a variety of music (disco, Latin, 1980s, etc.). Theme evenings, private evenings are organized. Vendée, Loire-Atlantique, Sarthe and Indre-et-Loire complete the local clientele and we don't just come here to have fun. Indeed, the huge cellars next door house a vast troglodyte restaurant, Les Nobles Fouées, where these chubby rolls are served, which come out of the wood-fired oven with all kinds of delicacies for convivial meals (see related section). The Lucifer is essential and historical on Saumur, especially since the underground world always brings this "little something extra"!
