Established since 1885, Langlois-Château operates its own vineyards and controls all its wines. A part of the vineyard of the domain is labeled organic. The layout of the site and the store allows you to discover the estate in a playful way. One literally "drinks" the words of his guide for visits in 4 acts: oenology course, stages of wine making, 300 m of underground path and commented tasting. After this introduction, you will surely hesitate between the fruity taste of a white Saumur, the power of a Saumur-Champigny, and many others.

They do tours in French and English at different times, we booked on a French tour because it was the next one to run (one of our group is French so we planned on just having her translate). The guide, Maelys, ended up doing the tour and tasting in both French and English for us. Maelys was absolutely fantastic, passionate about the wine and very knowledgeable.
It was 5 euros for the tour and tasting which was great value (you could pay a little more to do the wine school too). The wines were brilliant so we ended up buying a mixed case but there was absolutely no pressure to do so. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The 4-part experience was fantastic! It involved an in-depth lesson into making wine, a tour of the factory, a tour of the cave cellar and a tasting. For €10 per person, it was such good value for money as we tried 9 wines (a mixture of still and sparkling). Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. A great experience - thank you!
