HOUSE OF HARVEST
The Harvest Festival brings together nearly 8 000 people every first Sunday in August, for decades. The museum's collections have the opportunity to take the air to recreate the atmosphere of the harvests of the past: Breton combines to two horses, javeleuses, ancient combinations… All these elements (to which the faux of fake and the working horse in the party), dated from 1830 to 1950, present the work as it was done before the modernisation of the machines. A video document, the film "A grain of history", also explores the history of wheat, from seed in the fall until its harvest.
