Restaurant in the middle of nature with a terrace where the chef brings the Basque Country to life by working with local products.

You have to climb all the way up there, a few kilometers from Saint-Jean-pied-de-port, in this semi-mountainous site to find this restaurant set in the heart of unspoilt nature. A huge dining room opens onto a panoramic terrace. The chef brings you a taste of the Basque country and its products in a perfect setting. Truitelles d'Iraty, Tatin of duck breast, duo of pigeon salmis or roast (in season), homemade pavlova and a 7-course "surprise" menu.

Un vrai bonheur sur la terrasse.
On entend même les cloches des vaches.
On a juste pris un verre. On reviendra pour manger.

La vue est fantastique !!! Nous avons eu la chance ???? d'avoir une table en terrasse.
Nous avons essayé le menu degustación (50 €/personne sans boissons). 6 assiettes + 1 dessert ????. Nous avons passé près de 3 heures à dîner à cause d'un service très très lent (((
La nourriture était bonne, le foie gras était délicieux ????, mais la morue ???? un peu trop cuite et sèche. Les ingrédients des agriculteurs locaux, très frais et savoureux.
Nous avons adoré le Sidre ????, écologique.
Les serveurs parlent un peu espagnol (ne connaissent pas l'anglais).
Je voudrais noter 4,5* ????????
