COOPÉRATIVE DES AGRICULTEURS DE LA MAYENNE (C.A.M.)

In Mayenne, an old land characterised by agriculture, if it is an acronym that everyone knows at least, it is that of the CAM for Cooperatives of Agriculteurs Farmers. It is true that the figures speak for themselves, which reveals the importance of this multi-faceted cooperative - the second company in the department - created in 1947: 8 000 accession farmers, 490 employees, 9 industrial sites, 64 collection centres and, imposing, annual sales that celebrate thousands of mouths and… gueules: 36 000 cattle, 13 000 tonnes of duck, chicken, turkey and guinea fowl, 250 000 pigs, 230 000 tonnes of feed, 210 000 tonnes of cereals… On the shop side, CAM has about fifty, spread in six departments. But the one we recommend is located at the exit of Laval, the Secs Secs. You'll find what you're eating, and (if you've) your pets!
