THE URSULINE CONVENT
The Ursulines Convent, founded in the th century, is now the seat of the cultural ensemble of the Country of Château-Saved. It consists of an elegant 1634 th century manor house purchased by the nuns in 1642, which integrates into the mary buildings, the cloister and the church of the Trinity, which they build from. In the maze of Renaissance manor, the rigour of the cells is opposed in strict alignment. A privileged place for artistic dissemination and creation since 1995, the Ursulines allow the national scene Le Carré and the school of music and approved dance and visual arts to conduct a rich cultural policy. The Théâtre des Ursulines, designed by the architect Xavier Fabre, completed the old convent in 1999.
