THEVALLES WATERMILL
For years, three water mills have succeeded in the enchanting setting of Thévalles castle, ensuring the survival of the population in the event of a siege. The story of the current mill begins in the mid th century. Its mechanism, in progress, dates back to exactly 1850. It weighs 30 tonnes on four levels. Gears and pulleys are all visible in action. And watch the wheel of the wheel with a diameter of 5,60 m, grinding, tireurs and screening machines, grinding all of its cast iron and wood, producing its flour. Paul-Henri de Vitton, who has become a sucker by passion, has discovered and sold to the public, flour, grains and balles, a common cereal in the Middle ages, which is said to be the ancestor of the wheat.
