L'ÉTOILE
A gourmet restaurant with copious rations and flowers that are good for the land, are you trying? Then stop at the Etoile, in the village of Cossé, before visiting, for example, the famous Tatin Museum (no, nothing to do with the same name!) and come and test Stéphane Baranger's kitchen, which has learned his profession as chef at Fouquet's and the Bistro of Paris. Even if two of its dishes are accompanied by an extra charge (it's always a little annoying), the menu at 18.50 € deserves compliments, because it allows you to taste - at the price indicated - a tasty pot of beef paleron with candied onions, tomatoes and rutabagas, a delicious piece of braided pork. aubergine caviar and an excellent potato crunch and salted butter caramel. Finally, recently renovated, the three rooms are also very pleasant.
