THE STATUES OF LOUIS DERBRÉ
Many statues of Louis Derbré (1926-2011) pretty many places in the city where this world famous sculptor lived before creating the Cultural Centre that bears his name (but which has been temporarily closed since his death). Knowing this, lovers of artistic walks will be happy to stroll through this and there to find monumental works whose eye is not weary: " Epi ", square of combatants; " Joy "on the Esplanade René Ballayer; " Motherhood ", Place Fernand Valis; " La Roche ", place Jean-Moulin. They will also enjoy a break in front of the Community of the Community of Ernée and the Agora area to admire, respectively, "La Construction" and "The Myth". It goes without saying that "The Tribute to Firefighters" is in front of the barracks of the same name and "Moonlight de Lune" in front of the eponymous space. For those who prefer to admire the works of Derbré without risking any sun or wind or rain, they go to the church where they are waiting "Le Baptistery" and "The New Man", then in the hall of the Hospital decorated by a Bas-relief of the Master. Finally, a private work is also visible from the street: in front of the Thereof. In short, Ernée rime with Derbré.
