L'hôtel-Café du trinquet in Cambo-les-bains in the Basque Country

Created in 1910, it has been completely renovated. Our 3-star hotel with Tourisme Handicap label is located in the heart of Cambo-les-bains, a well-known spa and health resort in the Basque Country. The unique benefits of its waters and the exceptional mildness of its micro-climate have been renowned since the 12th century.

The hotel is equipped with an elevator, air conditioning and free wifi. All our rooms are equipped with a safe, courtesy tray, reading light, flat-screen TV and telephone. Our bathrooms are equipped with heated towel rails, illuminated magnifying mirrors and toiletries. Continental breakfast is served in your room, on the terrace or in the dining room.

Trinquet: you can play pelota on our premises. The trinquet is an indoor hall where you can watch pelota games all year round. The trinquet is available if you'd like to learn how to play pelota. We can lend you the necessary equipment.

There's plenty todo :

- Visit the Villa Arnaga, Edmond Rostand's sumptuous former home.
- The church is a listed monument in the Labourdine style, with its single nave, three rows of galleries and 17th-century gilded wooden altarpiece. Outside, you'll also find some very fine discoidal steles. A terrace overlooks the nive valley, a verdant landscape of great serenity.
- The thermal baths, below, are on the banks of the nive. Its thermal waters come out at 22 degrees and are rich in sulfur, iron and magnesium.
- Le Bas-Cambo, a district of Cambo les bains, is located on the other side of the river, where you can discover some very old houses, some of which date back to the Middle Ages.
- There are numerous hiking trails for all levels of ability
- At the top of the colline de la bergerie, you can contemplate the Pyrenees and find an area to relax and picnic.
