There are about areas of service in the Mayenne region that tourists who enjoy camping-as must know. That of Laval is easy to find because it is located under the overpass where the TGV passes, at the river end of Boston square. It has a large car park which can be very practical even if the size of the pitches is not suitable for vehicles. Moreover, the drain grid is placed on a traffic axis… For those who, for this reason, are ready to do a few extra kilometres, we recommend the Change area (4 km from Laval, the sailing club, coming from Laval after the church) and, more still, that of Saint-Jean-sur-Mayenne (8 km after Change), one of the most pleasant in the department because situated on the edge of the river Mayenne, on its magnificent path of slipway (but beware, this area is open only from April to mid-November!).
