LE CHEMIN DE FER
This is one of the very first steps that visitors arriving from the Rennes or Paris train can see by foot on Laval soil. Completely renovated in April 2012 by the new architect Alain and Joëlle Rogier, the façade of the railway shows the colour - grey - which also now burns the first room and the superb bar covered in brushed aluminium. Meals can be taken here or in the large dining room next to the entrance of the hotel and admire the traditional pub. The full menu is at 11 € with fresh dishes like the Piedmont salad, Burgundy beef, floating island (9 € for the flat/flat or dish/dessert formula). The rooms have all the modern comforts. Last characteristic, Alain and Joëlle systematically shake the hand of those who cross the threshold of their home.
