HÔTEL PÉRIER-DU-BIGNON
Hotel with an admirable architecture offering a spa, a jacuzzi, a garden, a swimming pool...
Unlike many hotels in France and Navarre, the one on Rue du Marchis has an admirable architecture and a long history that began in 1777 with a rich linen merchant, Pierre Périer du Bignon. While the latter ended up on the scaffold (the Revolution had caused a lot of bloodshed in Laval), his beautiful private mansion was transformed into a school and a hospice (Nazareth) and then, after many years of major renovation begun in 2004, into a superb hotel with 42 rooms and 9 suites. The hotel also offers one of the best tables in Laval (L'Epicurien), a spa, a Jacuzzi, a garden, a swimming pool (open to sunny days), a reception room and spaces adapted for seminars. Thus, 235 years after its birth, this jewel of local heritage located opposite the former bishopric, receives visitors again. As in the days of its original splendour....

Ce n'est pas le cas pour le dessert (feuille à feuille chocolat noisette). Il n'y avait d'équilibre, tout était trop lourd.
Le cadre est magnifique et globalement un bon rapport qualité prix.
