LA FACE DES ÉTOILES

To honor the memory of the father of Ubu (Alfred Jarry, a local child) and to make the people of Laval smile when they returned from their summer vacation, the former municipal team of François d'Aubert created a festival that lasted from 1997 to 2007, the Uburlesques. As soon as they came to power, the new Garrot-Boyer municipal team elected in 2008 decided to replace this three-day formula with La Face des Etoiles, which offers three events per week for a month, at three different locations: a district of the city, the courtyard of the Vieux-Château and the rue de l'Ancien-Evêché.
