LES JAZZ POTES
For years - 27 of them - eight good friends from Laval and the surrounding area meet at least once a month to play - with inexhaustible respite - New Orleans jazz and standards born in the early years of the th century. Known as Jazz Pals, they call Pierre Michel (saxophone), René Canat (trombone), Claus Walkstein (banjo, vocal), Jean-Paul Aubry (soubassophone), Jack Dupuy (trumpet), Jean-Claude Touiller (piano), Philippe Gaborieau (banjo), Philippe Gaborieau (banjo), Philippe Hardy (drums). Every year, these eight buddies make tobacco wherever they are asked to happen (they have played in many festivals in France but also in England, Tunisia…).
