INTERMARCHÉ DRIVE
Intermarché will remain in the history of Laval trade as the first to have launched a drive for its customers. The opening of this new service took place in April 2012 and met with resounding success. The method is simple: just connect to the internet address of the Hypermarket street, dial its shopping list (minimum €20) by clicking on the products that move on the screen, register in an available slot and come to collect your shopping at the indicated time. Payment is made on-site, only by CB. The particularity of this drive compared to its competitor E. Leclerc, which opened two months later? Here, specialized sellers draw directly from the 12,000 references of the store by using a barcode reader indicating each of your products. The advantage of this method? As it is not a warehouse, there are fresh products available, and above all, the customer who only wants two lemons can buy two and not a net that would contain eight or nine! Of course, this new service is entirely free.
