ST. PETER'S CHURCH
The daughter church of Bishop Geay, whose creation had been planned by the five predecessors of the bishop appointed to Laval
If this church is the "daughter" of Mgr Geay (who blessed it on April 10, 1900), its creation had been planned by the five predecessors of the bishop appointed in Laval to pass on the pill of "Rally" to the Republic. They had all envisaged dividing the parish of Saint-Vénérand by creating a new church on the left bank to accommodate the growing number of Laval residents living in the Gare district.
